Common Uses – Musta is known to be used to treat bloody stools, urinary problems, vomiting blood, breast tumours, candida, colds and flu, colic, convulsions, diarrhoea, dysentery, dysmenorrhea, fevers, gastritis, hypotension, indigestion, malabsorption, mental health, menopause, menstrual disorders, parasites, palpitation. Tubers are aromatic,used to increase body weight. Fresh tubers arediaphoretic, astringent and have been used tocombat scorpion stings.
Indications – It is used internally in morbid thirst, vomiting, loss of taste, intestinal worms, disorders of blood, burning micturition, disorders of breast milk and fever. It is used externally as paste in skin disorders, herpes, burning sensation and decrease in breast milk.
