Medicinal uses:

It is acrid, light, astringent, alternative, carminative and nervine tonic and is used for constipation, colic, dyspepsia, flatulence and piles. It reduces the morbidity of kapha and vata and cures leprosy and other skin disorders.

Home remedies:

1. In loss of appetite, indigestion, vomiting, tympanitis, constipation, its powder should be taken in the dose of 5 gm alng with Takra or hot water.
2. In intestinal worms, its powder should be taken in the dose of 10 gms after that some purgative should be taken.
