Common Uses – Jivanti is digestive and it is used in constipation and colitis, and as an ointment in allergy due to Pitta. It is cardiotonic and cures bleeding disorders. It is also used in bronchitis as an expectorant. It is an aphrodisiac and improves seminal quality through its specific action on the reproductive organs; also used in spermatorrhoea. It is a diuretic, used in dysuria, burning micturition, and pyuria. Jivanti also benefits in fever, burning, and phthisis and also in defective eyesight.
Indications – It is used externally in disorders of skin, throat, and wounds as a paste. It is used internally in burning sensation, herpes, cough, urinary disorders, cardiac disorders, and weakness.
