Common Uses – Nirgundi plant pacifies vitiated Vata. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, depurative, febrifuge, stomatitis, antipyretic, diuretic, rheumatic, and tonic properties. It is used to cure arthritis, inflammations, lumbago, dyspepsia, colic, flatulence, dysentery, wounds, ulcers, bronchitis, cough, malarial fever, hemorrhoids, dysmenorrhoea, leprosy, and general debility.
Indications – It is used internally in worm infestations, hepatomegaly, and spleenomegaly, cough, dyspnoea, skin disorders, dysmenorrhoea, burning micturition, fever, poisoning. It is used externally in swellings, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis.
Product description – It is the main ingredient in Nirgundi oil, Nimbadi ointment, and Ayushkar Pile Care ointment.
